Products on sale

I've recently opened up my holistic shop. I also decided today while looking at my FB page that I also needed to get my products to those that aren't based in KL. So, with a click, I joined Blomming and online site that helps me sell the products through FB. My page only has a few products here, the rest of the products, please like my page on fb. Here's the link:https://www.facebook.com/HappydogsPetTherapyCentrehttps://www.facebook.com/HappydogsPetTherapyCentre.

The centre is not a pet shop although in the future I shall have grooming 2 days a week by appointment only. I apologize that walk-ins will not be entertained. This is to ensure that the centre runs smoothly and without disruption.

We are also planning on having a social fur-parents weekend once a month where talks will be given on care of your pets, training, and grooming. The numbers will be limited and there will be cakes and coffees served that day.

Other future plans, I will be having my first animal communication workshop next year. I am aiming after Chinese New year. Those interested, please go to my fb page and message me. The details of it are being fine tuned. It will be a two day workshop.

On the 16th December, on the full moon, there will be a sound healing workshop named SOUL REVIVAL. I shall enlighten all of you later on in the week on what it entails. It will be a 1-2 hour workshop and it will be in the daytime.

On a later date, I will be giving a mini workshop on how to perform canine massage on you dogs. This workshop is aimed for owners with healthy dogs. Any dogs with medical condition, hip dysplasia will be turned away as it is only aimed for healthy dogs. I do not want run a risk of the owners who thinks that it's ok to join and perform on their dogs who has got hip dysplasia. You will hurt your dog further. For those cases, you MUST come and see me. This workshop is only for general information and how to warm your dog's muscle so that they do not incur any sprains or strains.

Vain dogs

Have you got a dog that walks past the mirror, stops and looks at him or herself? Well I have.  At first I thought that this is a coincidence. He's never seen himself in the mirror before. Than I started noticing that everytime he walked past the mirror he would physically stop and look at himself at the mirror and not in a quick glance way but actually stop, look and admire himself!! I've never seen such a sight!! It was pretty amusing and still is today. My westie is 6 years old this year and every time he passes the mirror he makes it a point to look at himself. It doesn't help when my husband keeps telling him 'handsome boy' and you know what, he knows he is!! :D Here's a photo of him looking at himself at the mirror. He is a little bit scruffy. He is due for a cut soon!

Aren't I handsome!!

Animal communication

It is quite secure at the centre. Here at the opening of my centre a few weeks back,  a customer's dogs.
It has been a while since I've blogged here. I do apologize. I have been busy setting up my holistic centre which is now currently up and open. In fact it is open today from 10-2.30pm. Today is the 10th November 2012. Can you believe it? It's already November and soon it will be 2013. So what does the centre have? I am going to announce a once a month on a weekend coffee and cakes weekend with the canines for a minimal fee. This way your canines get to socialize and you get a cuppa while in the safety of the centre.

The second announcement. The centre will be holding a sound healing workshop named "Soul Revival" on December 16. Come and experience the healing through voice on yourselves. The time will probably be in the morning so keep that date free! It will be an invigorating experience.

So what actually is happydogz holistic centre? It is a healing centre for pets and humans. When one person heals so does the other. For pet owners know, whether they are aware or not, when you aren't well, it is your pets that stay close to you. When you are down, it is your pets that cheer you up and take you sadness. So, it goes without saying that you owe it to yourself to heal yourself so as your pets heal you, you can also heal your pets.
My two little ones enjoying the sun at the centre.

Also provided in the centre is pet photography which entails pets and their owners.

Dog training

Being a canine therapist, I'm constantly being asked, how to house train pups. I'm a therapist not a trainer but I understand where they are coming from. I've had dogs all my life. Honestly, I cannot remember how I potty train my dogs. The most recent memory I have was to lay down newspaper all over in the kitchen then as the pup chooses her / his spot to pee, slowly remove the paper one by one day by day. It did work. Then eventually I moved the pup into the toilet, bought a pee pad and she just went there.

I must admit, it is easier when there is another older dog around the house when bringing home a new puppy. When we adopted our poogle, she was trained to pee on the rug. I don't understand why people teach their pups to pee on the rug because we have lots of rug in the house and the pup cannot understand which rug to pee! Worse if you have a carpet and they think it's ok to pee on that too! So out came the pee pads. At first she didn't know what she was suppose to do, then she slowly learned that she was suppose to do her business there, big and small, but she still peed on the rugs..what to do, what to do? Now what happened next was quite surprising. We have a 5 year old west highland terrier, male. He has stopped marking the house for 4 years. He only does his business outside, on his walks. I didn't realize this at the time, but this new puppy was observing and learning from him. Within a few months, she stopped doing her business indoors. She would hold her bladder until she got out, she would poo during her walks too! Eventually, the pee pad was made redundant and was kept away.

A year later, we adopted another dog. This time it was a Rottweiler. He was 6 months old when we got him. I admit, it was my husband that trained him. It didn't take him that long to train him. By this point we had moved to a house, with the house came a 10 year old boxer who was a family pet. She was trained to never go out of the house when the gate was opened. This was what the Rottweiler picked up. He's constantly watching the other older dogs and learning new things. He doesn't run out of the gate anymore when we come home. Of course, with learning new things, he also picks up the bad habits from the older dogs as well...they are after all like children. So, we will still need to discipline him not by beating him, but by stern words just like a child.

Ever heard of monkey see monkey do, well it applies to our dogs. :D Having one dog while is brings companionship to the human owner, taking another dog will bring joy to the house. It is true, dogs do keep each other company when the human owner is not around.

Our two adopted dogs and the youngest in our house.

Happydogz Holistic Centre

I have recently opened up a holistic centre for canines for their therapy session. Some may wonder why from house calls I open a centre up and incur cost, easy, the centre helps me to save on journey time and be able to help more dogs that need it. This has been on my mind for a while and finally I decided why not just do it. That way I can bring more holistic products for your canines and bring awareness to the owners on what is better for your dogs. So, I've researched and found toys that are hardy, home made soap, walkies belt that hold poo bags, wet wipes and even a compartment for your phone, natural shampoos for your dogs, holistic dog food that is better for your dog, natural creams that heal, supplements that helps with your dog's gut, skin problem and hair shedding and many more ailments.

No doubt it may cost a little more but think about it..your dog will be happier, your vet bills will lower. My muscle therapy lowers the risk of muscle injury in your dog, increases the oxygen flow in the dog's blood supply which in turn supports a healthy dog. The supplements aids in your dog's gut keeping him in optimum health. I've even got home made soap which has jojoba oil, eucalyptus and lemon grass essential oil. One person even commented how the soap helped her dog's skin and now her dog has itched less because of the soap and the cream. All the products in the shop has been imported.

For those who would like to see what else i have in the shop, drop in. If you want treatment for you dog, please call for an appointment on 016-3940968. Additionally, I also offer animal communication for your pets not just canines.

Functions of Muscle

As owners of canines, we take it for granted the health of our dogs. We expect them to be healthy, perfect and be our companions. We take them to the vet for their yearly vaccinations (which by the way, I do not vaccinate my dog every year for obvious reasons). We walk them, bathe or send them for grooming and shower them with love. So what happens when you're dog suddenly wakes up one morning and become lame? You send him / her to the vet, get pain killers, antibiotics if there's inflammation, cold compress...etc etc. Vet bills increases.

We must understand and be aware that in every living creature, the contraction of the muscle is what causes movement. In a dog, it's the same. The primary function of the muscular system is the move different parts of  the body. It stabilizes the joints to keep them functioning. There are 2 types of muscles in the body : Voluntary and Involuntary muscles. Involuntary muscles are based around the cardiovascular region, the cardiac muscles and surrounding the arteries, bladder and intestines are smooth muscles.

The second voluntary muscle are the ones that aids in the movement of our canines. It is the skeletal muscles that is attach to the skeletal system. The muscles that is attached to the skeletal system are the ones that helps the canines to walk, run, wag tail, chew, stretch and stretch. It is these muscles that consist of many cells which is held together by connective tissue that causes muscle contraction and therefore movement.

So if the muscle gets injured, pulled, stressed, sprained, the dog will experience lameness in his / her gait / movement. It may cause inflammation to the muscle. For degenerative disease like hip dysplasia, the muscle surrounding the joint plays an important role. As the humeral head in the femur bone isn't sitting properly in the socket, the muscles play a role to hold the humeral head together to socket or close to the socket. This is important because as your dog ages, if no treatment is done for the hip dysplasia, it will get progressively worse and your dog will eventually become lame, refuses to go for long walks because he / she is in pain.

For the dogs that are healthy, maintaining your dog's optimum muscle health is important. Muscle therapy for your canines even once a month will lower your canines from injury and save you high vet bills. You will see less sprains, strains on your canines. For dogs with degenerative disease, this therapy is important to ease your canine's pains, increases the oxygen flow, prevents the hip from degenerating further or slows it down at the very least. He / she will be a much happier dog.

I always believe that prevention is better than cure. If your dog has got a degenerative disease, than maintenance is important. It is not a cure for those dogs that have got hip dysplasia, but it will give your dog a better life free of pain.

This is my boxer, she is 10 years old and already finding it a little difficult to get up due to age. She gets her muscle therapy once a week. In this photo, she is resting from a vigorous play with our 11 month old Rottweiler. Look at how happy she is in this photo.

So, call me on 016-3940968 for free consultation today.

Holistic Centre

For years I've been thinking about opening up a base to provide my canine myofunctional therapy to other canines instead of travelling around by car to the houses and finally, I found a place where I can call 'home'. It is based in Bangsar and it is by appointment only. I state by appointment is because I still want the place to be nice a quiet and the dog I am treating will not get distracted during therapy. If any of you find your dogs limping, twisted the leg, old arthritic or just want to prevent any injury, please do give me a call on +6016-3940968.

I also have retail where I personally handpicked so that it is unique and cannot be found in most stores. Visit my fb page on https://www.facebook.com/HappydogsPetTherapyCentre . I will have my shop open this Saturday from 11-5pm 29/9/2012. So come and browse around and ask me about the therapy. I'll be happy to answer any queries.

SPCA

Today I had an appointment to visit SPCA to take some photos for the SPCA on the dogs that needed a home. It was difficult like all dog shoots. These dogs were nervous, hyper, sad but all looking for a forever home. One that is loving and be part of the family. That's not asking too much is it? So, as I am setting out venture into pet photography, I decided why not help these poor dogs to find a home. Take great photos of them to increase their chances of adoption. These are two of such photos that I took today. I do hope and pray that these dogs get adopted.

Adoption

I am amazed at people's action. In fact it never ceases to amaze me how irresponsible people can be when it comes to pet ownership. That irresponsible ownership has led to someone else to take up the responsibility. Recently, someone I know found a female dog sitting in front of her gate. Sorry I stand corrected, this dog followed her car back to her house. For days she sat outside the house. She would cry and howl as she wanted to come into the house. Why the dog chose her, I don't know. It was as if this dog took this house as her own. Unfortunately, my friend already has other dogs in the compound. She did try her best to introduce this dog to hers but this dog kept snapping at her dogs so left with no alternative, she had to send her to SPCA. She did call around before handing her over and when she left SPCA, the dog was howling and crying. She was so heartbroken as she couldn't do more for this dog. She did take the dog to the vet to get her checked up and found the dog had blood parasites and heart worm. So if anyone reading this blog would like to get a dog, please visit SPCA or PAWS. Every dog deserve a chance to life.

Dogs and Children's Asthma

Many people have the perception that if their children have asthma, having dogs in the house is a no,no.  What is the cause of asthma in children? In today's society, if affects millions of people especially children. There is a virus called RSV which is easily transmitted between adults and young children. There is a high probability that many who contract RSV as children and infants, will develop asthma later in life.

Scientist have recently conducted a research and found that having a pet in the house have health benefits. Dog dander, which is a mixture of loose hair and skin cells, commonly the cause of allergies have been found to contain a structure that  combat RSV!

Animal Communication

In the past month, I've had phone calls to find the owner's missing pets. I am surprise that I get these calls as my work does not entail in lost pets. Why don't I do it?
1. I need at least 3 communicators in order for me to start the process
2. The pet can only be located within 24 hours

I do not have the resources. With myself alone doing the process, it will take me 3 days to recover.

People do wonder what is animal communication? Do I talk to them verbally? The answer is yes I talk to animals and no not done verbally. Every communication I have done is through energy work. There are surprises when I 'talk' to the animals. They can reveal the secrets of the owner, the family, the house or sometimes they don't say anything at all. With each communication, my energy dissipates. I have learned to protect myself in order for my energy not to get drained. With the work on lost animals, a bigger energy is needed in order to find the animal. How I do it? I connect to the animal to where he or she is and the message is conveyed that way. A lot more energy is needed when I do so and hence 3 people to share the work load. Finding lost animals is a huge endeavor for the communicator.

Why 24 hours? Again is is because of energy. Each pet has energy within them. So, as each hour passes and each day passes, it will become thinner and thinner which will make it difficult to locate the animal.

So when I decline to perform a 'search' of lost pets, it is not because I do not want to do it, it is because each 'search' for lost pets will be draining for me. It is not to say that I don't take the search for lost pet, I do but only on discretion and depending on circumstances.

Raising Funds for the Animals

The poster is finally ready!! Thanks to my friend (Aquanova digital) who sponsored did the poster for me! I have lemongrass house singapore, IFJ photography, Happydogz and expresso lab who are some of the sponsors. There will be performances, fashion show, a raffle and a silent auction that night. Please do come and help raise the funds for the animal shelter based in Egypt. They are an NGO but unlike NGO's here, they don't get any funding by the Egyptian government. They rely of public kindness and donation and on events like this to raise money for their shelter to stay open. So many asked me why I am doing this. IT is for the animals I am doing it for. Whether they are based here or overseas, I will help when I can. Yes sure there are lots of animal shelter locally that I can help out and I have offered my services to them. I also know that they have gotten funding from the public too so why not raise awareness on those animals not in our backyard? They surely need our  help too. So why don't you come and join in a night of entertainment. It is for a good cause. All monies raised will go towards the shelter TOUCH OF LIFE.

Please contact me on 012-3027658 to purchase the tickets or you can email on happydogz13@gmail.com.

Thank you.

Moving

I've been a neglecting my blog for a while. My apologies. We've been busy packing up and moving houses recently. Even as I speak, there are still boxes strewn around the rooms. The only rooms that have been unpacked are the kitchen, bedroom, tv/living room. We are still waiting on the dining table, sofa for the downstairs living room. So please bear with me. I shall have my next posting up soon.

Lost pets

I am an animal communcator who frequently gets asked to look for lost animals. Normally I will not take on such request as it is physically draining and I need more animal communicators to help me. However, on Sunday 6th May 2012 at 7 pm, I received a call from a stranger informing me that his friend's dog have gone missing. Upon talking further conversation, I found out that the dog ran away because the owner was walking her off leash. Now that really annoyed me. I was thinking how irresponsible that was but I put the conversation aside and concentrate on what was at hand. As I said, I do not take cases for lost dogs and usually refer to another friend of mine but unfortunately that night she was indisposed. I decided that I should help the dog go home. Something inside me told me to do it. I asked the owner to send me a picture of her dog and her house. After communicating with the dog I discovered that she was a timid dog. I advised the owner to leave the front porch light on and to send her a mental image of her house. Early Monday morning at 2.30am the dog was sitting at her front gate just before the storm broke. I told the owner to make a donation for an animal shelter primarily this is not within my job scope by choice. That being said, I do take on request for lost animals but selectively. The lesson here is, no matter how well behave your dogs are, please always walk it on a leash! Be a responsible owner. They can still get spooked or see a cat across the road and before you know it, your dog would have dashed across the road and no matter how loud you shout or scream, it's not going to hear you as adrenalin takes over. So, your dog can either get knocked down by a car if it's a busy road or go missing. Pleas be responsible.

Home Made soap

For a very long time now I've been battling the tick problem. I do not frontline my dogs as I do not believe in slowly poisoning my dogs. Plus, frontline does not work on my dog anymore. I still find ticks on him and it's frustrating! I have in the past used frontline with my previous dogs. The decision to stop using frontline, IT DOESN'T WORK ON MY DOGS! Maybe these ticks my dogs pick up are super ticks that are immune to frontline or they've grown so immune with the medicine. In any case, I started using a holistic product call Bio X debug. It works but slower. It's a spray bottle that I spray on my two little ones before I take them for walks.

Recently, I decided to treat my niece to soap making class. This got me thinking. I could make soap for my dogs with the necessary essential oils to prevent ticks. So yesterday I made their soap which by the way is also natural. I already had the essential oils in my home. I added it into the soap and today washed my dogs with it! It smelled great, their furs are much softer and on drying my male dog, the ticks died! Great! Who knows this could progress!!

Cat and Gerbil Shoot

On a public holiday, I was working. While the new Sultan was being coronated, I was shooting 3 cats and a gerbil. Now, I've never shot cats before and this was my first ever cat shoot. They really are independent animals! They dictated when they want to be shot, when they will sleep and when they are ready to have their photos taken. Wow, very diva behaviour but I had fun shooting them. Anyway while I was waiting for the princesses and 1 prince to get ready for their photo opportunity, I had great fun shooting a gerbil! He was a perfect subject. He stood still, posed for me and looked really pretty in a pink bow. I know it's a HE but honestly he looked adorable in that pink bow!

Finally one of the cats was ready for her photo to be taken. Here's the result!

These are just two of the photos that I took on that day.

I am currently doing a promotional price of RM150 for pet photography till the end of April. It makes a great keepsake of your pets. You will get all the photos taken plus one photo beautifully packaged in a two fold cover. I can be reached on 012 302 7658. The shoots can either be at home or outdoors.

Photo Shoot

On Saturday, I had a last minute doggy shoot. I looked at the clouds and prayed that the skies would not open up and bless us with a shower. Besides being therapist, I am also a photographer. There were three little dogs, very young and very energetic. Thankfully, my friend brought her maid to help out. No sooner did we turn our heads, one was off running the other direction! So there was the maid who was chasing after one dog, another got lose and off goes the owner in the other direction for the other dog! But all ended up well. After requesting that the dogs be taken for a VERY long walk to tire them out, it was time for their photography session. It wasn't as easy as sit, stay and click. They could not sit still. So as a photographer, my job is to be patient, clear instruction to the owner and the dogs and be ready to click the camera! The result, a beautiful shot of the three little ones below.

Animal Communication

A few days back I received an SMS from a stranger who was given my contact number through Violet Place (a new age shop) that I frequent. Her cat had gone missing and she was told about me. A meeting was set up. Usually when I start my communication with any animal, it may be very fast or it may take a while before the animal opens up. So the session can be up to 2 hours. As she wanted to find out whether her cat was still alive, I agreed to do the session. I cannot divulge what transpired in the session as communication between myself, the cat and the owner is confidential. What I can say is, the owner got her answers and is feeling better. As to whether her cat is still here, unfortunately he passed on over to the rainbow bridge. I must say, I have never spoken to such playful cat before and he made me laugh during our session. It was bitter sweet to say the least. The owner was assured on his leaving this plane, but sad that he is gone. This got me thinking. Cats are proud animals. They come when it's time to eat, they pretty much leave you alone and when they want attention they will come to you. They also know when it is their time to go. They would rather you remember them when they are alive then to burden you with their death.  Dogs on the other hand, love their owners so much that they would hang on to what little life left for as long as they can so that they can stay with their owners just that extra day or until the owner is ready to let them go.

Nervous Dogs

Today was the lovers and leashes event in support of neutering cats around Jaya One which was supported by SPCA. There were many dogs of different breeds there. In the morning, there was lots of huskies and malamuts. I had a table there selling anti-oxidants and other goodies for the canines. I was also snapping some photos. This photo below started me thinking. How many of us know the dog's behaviour? Look at this picture, look at it's little face and look at it's body language. She's looking away from the camera. It tells me a lot about this dog. It is not because she is camera shy, it is because she is a nervous dog, she does not trust anyone easily and she's scared. So much information that we can read from just one picture. So how do you approach a dog with that disposition? With nervous dogs like this one, you cannot run up to it as it will run away, you cannot just start patting her either because you will run a risk of getting bitten because of her nervousness. Luckily this little one here did not suffer from aggression/fear. She was merely afraid of people and will turn away if anyone tried to pat her.

The next photo shows how you should approach a nervous / scared dog. First approach the dog quietly and softly. Do not create loud noises as this may spook the dog. Then offer out your hand to let the dog sniff your hand. The hand offer is to show that you mean the dog no harm. Here you can see the dog is still looking nervous. The correct way when extending out your hand to the dog is have your palm facing downwards. This reassures the dog that you mean him / her no harm. The without any sudden jerking movement, stroke the side of his / her face first before gently moving to stroke his / her head. She may not allow you to stroke her at all the first time and that is fine. At least contact has been made and she knows you mean her no harm. To create a relationship with a nervous dog takes time but once she trusts you, she will be your friend for life. So be patient and keep trying because I promise you, the gift of friendship and loyalty from your new found friend is priceless.

Dogs and spirituality

There is something I want to share. As the above title suggest, dogs and spirituality. As most of you will not be aware, I am an animal communicator as well. Yes animals (not just dogs) communicate with me and I with them.  The communication is not done orally. It is done mentally. They talk to me when they need me most to communicate their emotional state. How is this done? With energy. When I read that animals cannot talk, I have to disagree. They do communicate but we are not listening. Perhaps with all the 'noise' and our busy schedule have de sensitized our senses. It is easier to not listen then to listen. And when we do not listen to our pets, it shows up in our lives as well. Who are we not listening to? Just like how we treat our pets, it is the same with humans. I believe how we treat our pets reflects on how we treat each other. If a person abuses their pets, it shows me the character of the person and I stay far away from him / her. If a pet does not like someone, be cautious with that person. Your pets will give you their most honest opinion and will never lie to you unlike humans.

The pets in your household are part of your family and as part of your family, they are selfless and gives the owners unconditional love. They will do anything for their owner without expecting anything in return. How many people in your life gives you unconditional love?

I have had communication with pets with terminal illnesses who will not cross over the rainbow bridge because their owner cannot let them go. They stay and live through the pain until the owner says, 'It's ok to go.' They stay because they care and love their owner and will only cross over when the owner is ready. I stand corrected, they will stay only if their body permits them to for as long as possible. Their spirit will fight on. Make no mistake, when the animal's spirit is ready to go, it will leave it's physical body but because of their love for their owner, they will the spirit to stay for as long as physically possible. Let's face it, we as 'parents' of our pets do not want to lose our 'kids' and even I have that issue but I know when it's time for them to go, they will go. I recall when my little female west highland terrier passed on, she was struggling with her breath, rasping away yet hanging on to her life, the minute I whispered to her, 'It's ok baby, you can go,' she let go and passed on. It was the hardest thing for me to do and to say, but I knew I had to in order for her to pass on peacefully.

So the next time you stroke your pet, thank your pets for being part of your lives.

Canine Muscle Therapy

I am constantly being asked, how long is the session? What does it do? The statement I often hear is, "I can do it myself too!" Here's the short version of muscle therapy for dogs.

I can massage my dog too!

Yes I have no doubt that dog owners can massage their own dogs. In fact I'm sure lots of dog owners do. What I do is very different from just massaging the dogs. I work the muscles of the dog. I pinpoint which part of the muscle that needs to be 'unknotted' and sometimes the dog I work with will experience some discomfort but the result is, they normally end up relax and will fall asleep for a long time. I am a qualified therapist for dogs and have studied the musculoskeletal system of the dog. I am aware of the contraindication whereby I cannot and will not provide therapy for the dogs as it may injure them further.

How long does one session last?

For the first session, it may take up to an hour. The first hour I will sit with the owner and find out more about the dog and it's medical history. The diet that the dog is on, if there are any x-rays that I need to be aware of. Then I take a look at the dog's gait / movement. Which way he is swinging or favouring, whether he is lame..etc. Then I will sit and do a session on the dog. As it will be the dog's first session, it may not want to sit still and will fidget. The session may last only 20 minutes with the dog. As I do not believe in forcing the dog to sit still for the session, I will call it a day. The session will take time for the dog to adjust but he/she will feel the benefits from the first session. Eventually, the dog will be begging for a longer session!

Benefits of muscle therapy.

The benefits of muscle therapy for the dogs are many. For healthy dogs, it maintains their optimal level of health so as to ensure that their muscles are healthy and supple. This would in turn lessen any vet visitation. For dogs that do have health issues like hip dysplasia, muscle degeneration, sprain, strains, arthritis, this therapy will benefit them in helping them to loosen up their muscles. Dogs that have hip dysplasia will have better movement for their legs. Please note that this is not a cure for hip dysplasia. This treatment mainly helps the dog to ease the pain that they experience from hip dysplasia and gives them a better movement. Also note that if a dog suffers from hip dysplasia, they will be more reluctant to move or take their walks and their weight will slowly increase which in turn is bad for their hip, hence a vicious cycle. I have seen dogs that just got up after a treatment and started running around because she felt so good! For older dogs that suffers from arthritis, this is when the muscles and joints stiffen, this treatment will allow them to move around. Wouldn't it be great to see your dog being able to run again?
I currently have a dog that I have been treating for 3 years that was suffering from muscle spasms which is caused by muscle degeneration from her neck area. Since I started treatment with her, her spasms have stopped. Now her treatment has been reduced to once a month.

How often does the dog need treatment?

The frequency of treatment will depend on the vitality of the dog. For dogs that have health issues, I advise treatment once a week.  I will then observe the dog for a period of time and see how he / she is progressing. If he / she is improving, the treatment will then be reduced to once every two weeks and eventually once a month. The observation of the owners is also very important as I can keep up to date on it's progress.

What does this therapy do?

Muscle therapy helps in oiling the muscles, create fresh oxygen flow and releases the toxins in the body. When the muscles are in optimum health, there will be less injuries and the dog will have a long and happy life.

12 Feb 2012 - Lovers and Leashes

On the 12th February, nearing to Valentine's day, SPCA is organizing an event called Lovers and Leashes. It sounds very S&M but rest assured, it is all about your pets on that day. There will be booths set up, a play pen area for your little ones to play and proceeds of that day goes to cat sterilization in Jaya One.

I will have a table on that day whereby I will be promoting Nzymes for pets. This is an anti oxidant for your pets. It is not only confine to dogs but also to birds, horses, cats..etc. The products Nzymes, promotes a better health for your pets. I have been giving this to my two little ones. My male westie who usually seem lazy, sleepy and slow, is now very alert, active and it shows in his eyes. It's as if he's come alive! I discovered Nzymes on the internet some years ago. I decided to read up on this as I wanted to give my dogs a healthy diet. Upon reading the testimonials, I decided to purchase this product and try it out. It turns out, it was the best thing I have purchased for my dogs. As a Canine Myofunctional Therapist, I am always on a look out for holistic product for your pets. Nzymes provides your pets with enzyme rich food plus a powerful antioxidant protection. The live ingredients add the key nutrition needed for a long and vital life and quality building blocks a pet's body needs to cleanse toxins and free radicals from soft tissues to maintain the normal healthy functioning of the immune system. With today's pet food sold in the shops, there aren't enough nutrition in their food for our pets. I cook for my dogs. I do so because I know what goes into my dog's stomach but I am also concern that they do not get the nutrition and enzymes they need. So, Nzymes helps protect my dog from illnesses and I must admit, both my dogs are in good health.

Aside from providing protection for your pets, Nzymes full range product aids for dogs that has itchy skin, yeast smell.
