Reiki Workshop

I sometimes get calls by doggy parents to seek some sort of healing for their pets. It could be a therapy session that they need and sometimes it is healing of the energy kind. I practice reiki healing on pets. And when the occasion arises, I will administer the healing on the pet. It has proven to be a great tool to ease a pet's pain and discomfort.

A little explanation about reiki for those who aren't aware of it. Reiki energy comes from the universal love energy. I ask the universal love energy to work through me to heal the subject in front on me or via distance if needed. The intent is to heal the ailing pet. Intention is the key. But the parent must also be aware that even the best reiki healers can't heal if the soul does not want to be heal. Yes in this case, if the pet's soul doesn't want to be healed, then I as a reiki healer can only ease his or her pain and make his journey over the rainbow bridge as painless as possible. It is the heart breaking but knowing that the pet has past over peacefully is the only thing a healer can do. When I learned this, I took the workshop meant for humans. Over the years, I discovered, I love administering this healing for animals. I choose to do so. Reiki healing is not only for humans but for all life, even plants.

So, if anyone who is interested in learning reiki, there will be a workshop on the

Vaccinations

When an 'owner' (I put in apostrophes as we do not own anything on this earth. Ownership is mere perception of our ego) gets a new puppy, the first thing we do is to bring the pup for his/her first vaccinations. Most get away with no further complications from the vaccinations. But there are some who have died from the vaccinations. We must remember that vaccinations are not immunization for a disease. They are suppressants and not boost for our little furry friends immune system. It does exactly the opposite. I leave you with this article link from dogs naturally magazine. Please do click on the link and read it. You may decide differently on vaccinating your little ones.

An ailing dog can sometimes benefit from a massage

A recent article was published about my specialty in canine myofunctional therapy. It was an honour to be interviewed and be recognized for what I do.
