Lost pets

I am an animal communcator who frequently gets asked to look for lost animals. Normally I will not take on such request as it is physically draining and I need more animal communicators to help me. However, on Sunday 6th May 2012 at 7 pm, I received a call from a stranger informing me that his friend's dog have gone missing. Upon talking further conversation, I found out that the dog ran away because the owner was walking her off leash. Now that really annoyed me. I was thinking how irresponsible that was but I put the conversation aside and concentrate on what was at hand. As I said, I do not take cases for lost dogs and usually refer to another friend of mine but unfortunately that night she was indisposed. I decided that I should help the dog go home. Something inside me told me to do it. I asked the owner to send me a picture of her dog and her house. After communicating with the dog I discovered that she was a timid dog. I advised the owner to leave the front porch light on and to send her a mental image of her house. Early Monday morning at 2.30am the dog was sitting at her front gate just before the storm broke. I told the owner to make a donation for an animal shelter primarily this is not within my job scope by choice. That being said, I do take on request for lost animals but selectively. The lesson here is, no matter how well behave your dogs are, please always walk it on a leash! Be a responsible owner. They can still get spooked or see a cat across the road and before you know it, your dog would have dashed across the road and no matter how loud you shout or scream, it's not going to hear you as adrenalin takes over. So, your dog can either get knocked down by a car if it's a busy road or go missing. Pleas be responsible.
